1. No-email access

If you decide you do not want your participants to sign up for the app using an email address, this can be done.   It does allow for quicker access; however, no data can be stored for the participant. For example, if the participant wrote annotations on slides, sent a private message, or wants to register in the app for sessions, they will not be able to do so. In the back office, a fictitious email address will be created, and their status will show as ConnexMe-only. When a participant creates an account, the real email will replace the fictitious email.


To enable no-email access: 


  • Go to the Configuration page
  • Click ConnexMe
  • Scroll to Security 
  • Untick Require email address from participant
