Why is it useful?

Do you want to enable your exhibitors to maximize their networking opportunities and never lose a lead after your events?
With the ConnexMe app, exhibitors can scan participants’ badges to exchange business cards. All scans are centralized within the team, providing at the end of the event a complete overview of the exhibitor’s interactions and network.

Note: This is only possible if you use our OnSite check-in app together with our ConnexMe interactivity app.

How does it work?

  1. How to scan guest?

Each guest receives a unique QR code through the OnSite app.

From the ConnexMe app, the exhibitor goes to the Home menu and selects Scan a QR code.

The phone camera opens automatically, ready to scan the guest’s QR code.

Once the scan is completed, an email is sent to both parties to share their virtual business card.

The business card includes the guest’s first name, last name, job title, company, email, and phone number.

Each guest can customize their business card from their ConnexMe profile.

  1. Linking guests to an exhibitor

It is possible to link several people to the same Exhibitor entity in order to centralize and merge all the information collected under this entity.

From the event back office (Configuration > Program > Exhibitors), select the relevant exhibitor and click Associate a member.

For each exhibitor, you can add guests by assigning them one of the following two roles via the dropdown menu:

  • Coordinator: has specific rights to manage the team and export all badges generated by all associated members.

  • Member: simple association with the exhibitor, visible to guests..

As an administrator, you can also make these changes directly from the ConnexMe app.

  1. Centralization of guest scans

The coordinator can download, from the app, all guests scanned by the exhibitor’s team members by clicking on Download all members’ scans.

All scans will be available in an Excel file.

Note: Other guests only see that someone belongs to the exhibitor’s team, without knowing their role as coordinator.
